Interprofessional Collaboration

Our innovative curriculum focuses on team-based, patient-centered care. In year 1, students begin learning how to collaborate with other health professionals by participating in Putting Families First. This program is coordinated by the UF Health Science Center and has received a Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation award. Across years 2 and 3, students participate in team-based learning and other collaborative activities with other health professional students. In year 4, students are members of an interprofessional team during most rotations.
